In the past years, poets have with their social personal realities taut the leash of individuality and selfhood, with one-minute spectacles of cheap designer work. The Self, of course, is a factor for poets trying to understand their identity. Only: the Self must be destroyed before poetry is realized.
Deconstruct the personal. The confessional is only for ambiguities, identify preservation. It lacks awakening, consciousness. They succeed in sentimental utterences, formal ordinary familiarity, stylistic knowledge of workshops and academic tutelage.
